Type M Barrier

Type M barrier is a non-proprietary temporary concrete barrier developed by the Midwest Roadside Safety Facility. It has been successfully crash-tested in accordance with NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 3. Connections consists of steel pins placed through (3) steel loops at each end of the barrier. Type M barrier can be suitable for applications where reduced deflection barrier is required, such as adjacent to open excavations or on bridge decks.
